HearWell @ HKU Service Description
The Hearing Health (Audiological) Service is provided by an experienced Audiologist at the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences on campus or at the HKU Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic at Kennedy Town Centre.
The service typically starts with an assessment around your area of concern, usually through a collection of case history, a thorough hearing test, and consultation based on your test result. Students with known hearing impairment are recommended to come for a consultation about amplification instruments, assistive listening devices, application for student grants, etc.
This is a funded service offered to enhance the existing support resources at the University. It is now free of charge to all HKU undergraduate and postgraduate students.
If you have questions about this service or would like to make an appointment, please get in touch with us at <hearwell@hku.hk>. All information collected from you during this enhanced support service will remain confidential.
