On Friday, May 26, 2017, the Division of Speech and Hearing Sciences hosted the 2017 BSc Presentation Day.
The annual event highlights the final year BSc Speech student’s research projects. The day commenced with an address from the Division Head, Prof. Tom Klee. Student’s oral presentations and poster presentations followed. Community clinicians, clinical supervisors, and researchers in the field of communication disorders came together for a day of stimulating discussions. The keynote speaker,Dr. Cheryl Messick (Director of Clinical Education School of Health and Rehabilitation Science University of Pittsburgh), gave an inspiring talk for the final year students entitled, “Becoming a Reflective Practitioner.” Presentation Day concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony.
