Our Clinical Education Team successfully hosted the seminar “Advancing Clinical Practice and Education Using Innovations” on 22 May 2026 at Rayson Huang Theatre.
The afternoon began on innovations in clinical practice, featuring insightful talks by Prof. Sarah Si Chen and Mr. Sunny Yat‑Cheong Wong, who shared research on robot-assisted training for autistic children and creative approaches to supporting dyslexic youth.
Part Two shifted to clinical education, showcasing diverse perspectives from speakers across PolyU, CUHK, EdUHK and HKU. Topics ranged from simulation-based learning and clinical assessment to interactive and interprofessional training methods, highlighting practical ways to strengthen speech-language pathology education.
The event concluded with a lively panel discussion, encouraging exchange among participants and speakers. Overall, the seminar provided a valuable platform for sharing forward-looking ideas and fostering collaboration in advancing both clinical practice and education.
